1 Overview of Issuenet Relay Administration

IssueNet Administration options are available by clicking Administration in the Menu when logged on as the Administrator UserID.

2 The General Tab

The General Tab contains settings for the following:
  • Mode:
    • Submit- In this mode IssueNet relay users will be able to submit new issues, but not able to view or edit existing issues.
    • Browse- In this mode IssueNet relay users will be able to view existing issues, but will not be able to enter new issues or edit existing issues.
    • Submit and Browse- In this mode IssueNet relay users will be able to view, create and edit issues.
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Request Authentication on Update - With this option selected, users will be required to enter their password prior to inserting or updating IssueNet Relay documents.

3 The Classes Tab

The Classes tab allows the Administrator to add or remove classes from the New menu list. Each Class must have a corresponding Edit page and can have unique Print Formats.

4 The Issue Explorer Tab

The Explorer Tab contains settings for the following:
  • Issue Query- Sets default issue query filter. The query selected will serve as an additional filter for the Search tool and any other queries users may execute.
  • Folder Query- Sets default folder query filter. The query selected will serve as an additional filter for the Search tool and any other queries users may execute.
  • Print Format- Sets print format for issue lists in the explorer folder and list modes.
  • Show Search- Determines if the search tool is made available to IssueNet relay users.
  • Show Tree -Determines if the folder view is made available to the IssueNet relay users.
  • Restore Issue Explorer- When selected the explorer restores the previous session state.

5 The Documents Tab

The Documents tab allows the Administrator to set the location of documents attached to IssueNet Relay Issues and Contact forms.

There are 2 fields on the Documents tab:
  • Document Store- This fields specifies the Document Store in which attached documents will be placed.
  • Document Store Folder- When using a SharePoint document store, this fields specifies the Folder in which attached documents will be placed.

6 The Security Tab

The Security Tab contains the following settings:
  • Require Individual User Account-Each Web Relay User will have their own named user account.
    • Bind Contact on Log In- With this option selected, if a User who does not have Contact information associated with their UserID, they will be prompted to enter Contact information, and this Contact information will be associated with the UserID.
    • Allow Auto Log In- With this option selected, users will be allowed to automatically log onto the relay site by selecting the Auto Login Next Time checkbox.

  • Use Shared User Account- When the Use Shared User Account option is selected, all users who hit the site are logged on under the same User Name, and their contact information is persisted to a cookie. The shared mode requires that the User Name does not have a contact associated with it. The option to Validate the shared user ID simply checks to verify that the selected UserID has no contact information associated with it.

  • Contact Primary Identifier- This field selected in this drop-down menu allows the Administrator to select the field which will determine if the Contact entered is unique.

  • Contact Prompt Properties-When it is determined that the Contact does not exist, Users will be required to provide contact information. Administrators can select what optional Contact information will be collected. Available fields are displayed in the left hand pane, and can be moved to the right hand pane by selecting the field and clicking the right arrow.

7 The Appearance Tab

The Appearance tab allows you to modify many of Relay’s common visual elements. On the Appearance tab you can change the Relay site logo, enable field tool tips, and modify the Relay style sheet which controls elements like font sizes and site colors.

8 The Messages Tab

The Messages tab allows the Administrator to customize the various messages users may encounter when using IssueNet Relay.
