1 What are Issues?

An issue is any significant event, episode, occurrence, or defect that emerges. Some common types of issues are:
  • Problem reports
  • Requests
  • Requirements
  • Support Tickets

2 Creating and Editing Issues

Relay users are able to create Issues by selecting New on the Navigation menu, there may be more than one type of issue available depending on the configuration of the Relay site. Users may also have the option to attach supporting documents to the issue.

The issue document typically consists of two tabs, however depending on the site configuration more tabs may be available:

  • General Tab - This tab consists of the required and optional fields
  • Documents Tab- This tab allows user to attach and view documents related to the Issue

3 Searching for Issues

Selecting View|Explorer from the Navigation menu and clicking the Search icon opens the Search Tool. The search tool allows users to quickly search for Issues based on the key terms or other fields contained in the Issue document.

The Search tool will filter the results based on user permissions as defined by the Administrator and further filters the result based on the keywords and parameters selected in the Search tool.

Depending on the Relay site configuration, this option may not be available to all users.

4 Printing Issues

Users are able to print single issues or lists of issues. To print, simply select Actions|Print from the Navigation menu or click the Print Icon. The format of the report rendered when printing is determined by the Relay site settings. In order to render a report, users must have Adobe Reader installed.
