1 The Login Screen

In order to access IssueNet Relay, a valid UserID and Password combination must be entered. If the Auto Login Next Time checkbox is selected, users will bypass the Login screen the next time the Relay site is accessed. Depending on the configuration of the IssueNet relay site, the Auto Login Next Time option may not be available.

IssueNet Relay provides navigation using menus and a context sensitive toolbar. The screen shot above displays the Relay toolbar see the table below for detailed information on each icon.

3 The Issue Explorer

Selecting View|Issue Explorer from the Navigation menu opens the Explorer which to browse and search for issues. The following views can be selected:

  • Search -To enter the Search view, select View|Issue Explorer from the Navigation menu and then click the Search icon.
The search mode provides a two-paned view with the left pane providing a search tool, and the right pane providing the result set of the Search. The right hand pane also contains a Query drop down list which filters the Search based on the selected query. The result set can be sorted by clicking the Column name of the field you wish to sort on, e.g. Issue ID or Status.

  • Folders-To enter the Folders view, select View|Issue Explorer from the Navigation menu and then click the Folder icon.
The Issue Explorer provides a two-paned explorer view of folders and issues. The left pane displays a hierarchical view of folders which the currently logged on user has rights to view. When a folder is selected, the issues related to that folder are filtered by the query selected in the Query drop down list. If the Recurse checkbox is selected, the issues displayed will be those contained in the selected folder and its children.

  • Issue List- To enter the Issue List view, select View|Issue Explorer from the Navigation menu. The list of issues displayed will contain the result set of the query selected in the Query drop down list.

4 IssueNet Relay Options



Selecting Options from the Navigation menu provides you with the following menu options. Depending on the configuration of the Relay site, some of these options may not be available to all users:

4.1 Changing Your Password

Selecting Options|Change Password from the Navigation menu allows users to change the password associated with their UserID. Please note that depending on the configuration of the Relay site, this option may not be available to all users.

4.2 Updating Relay Settings

Selecting Options|Settings from the Navigation menu allows the user to set the following options. Please note that depending on the configuration of the Relay site, this option may not be available to all users.

  • Spell Check on Update- With this option selected, the text fields will be spell checked automatically.
  • Clear Auto Log In Information- This option resets auto logon information set in the Relay site cookie.
  • Clear Contact Information- This option resets the information Relay uses to identify contact information.

4.3 Editing Contact Information

Selecting Options|Contact Info opens the contact document for the currently logged on user. Please note that depending on the configuration of the Relay site, this option may not be available for all users.
